Placed within the Pre-Sales & Consultancy Team, the selected resource will be dedicated to pre-sales and consultancy activities for complex Projects and Services in the Cyber Security field. You will support the Sales Team in the sales process, analysing customers’ needs and designing customised technical solutions. Furthermore, he/she will be involved in Security Assessment and Gap Analysis activities, with reference to the main sector frameworks.

Main responsibilities
  • Sales, design and consulting of Security solutions and services for Enterprise customers.
  • Constant collaboration with the Sales Area and the Technical Area of the Company.
  • Accompanying and supporting sales staff in analysing needs, identifying the solution and determining the scope of the Project and Services.
  • Achieving and maintaining pre-sales certifications in relation to the various solutions proposed.
Required Skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent culture.
  • Previous experience in the role of Presales Engineer, ideally gained in the Security field (or, alternatively, in one or more of the following contexts related to the following Security topics: SASE, SSE, NDR, EDR, Web Application Firewall, Vulnerability Management, NAC, SOAR and SIEM).
  • Experience in the design and documentation of cybersecurity infrastructures.
  • Graded experience in drafting and/or carrying out Security Assessments.
  • Preferable possession of certifications in the field of security and knowledge of the main methodologies and guidelines for information security management (NIST, NIS, DORA, etc.).

The selected resource will be placed within the SecOps & AI Area, an organisational unit dedicated to the management and development of innovative technologies and processes aimed at improving MXDR service delivery. Thanks to Threat Hunting and Incident Response activities – carried out in active cooperation with the SOC – and Purple Teaming activities – carried out in cooperation with the RedTeam – the Division is responsible for the development of new correlation rules and related containment PlayBooks.

Within this context, the function – through the implementation of automation and the promotion and use of innovative technologies that exploit Artificial Intelligence – will aim to increase efficiency in threat detection, in the distribution of indicators of compromise (IoC) and in threat hunting and threat intelligence activities.

  • Management of the SOAR platform, through which automations are maintained and deployed.
  • Management of internal Threat Intelligence and Threat Sharing platforms, for the management and deployment of IoC.

Required Skills
  • Experience of at least 2 years in Cyber Security (use of SIEM, EDR, NDR and similar platforms).
